Dr. Aicha DUIHI

Our President 

Dr. Aicha Duihi: 

Researcher in human rights/economy; President of the Sahara Observatory for Peace, Democracy and Human Rights "OSPDH"; member of the National Commission for the Coordination of Measures to Combat and Prevent Human Trafficking and founding member of the "WE" network for women’s rights defenders in North Africa and the Middle East. Holder of a Diploma of Advanced graduate Studies/DAGS in Organizational Economics from the MEDV Agdal Faculty – Rabat, and a Bachelor's degree in Management from the Cadi Ayyad Faculty - Marrakech. Holder of a diploma from the "Institute of Business Administration"/IBA Poitier-France; to work as a provincial head of women's affairs and a teacher trainer in business management.

Aware of the strong interdependence between human rights issues and development, her moral commitment to her region was present in her choices, dedicating a large part of her career to Social work; she has contributed to the creation of many civic initiatives, particularly in the regard of human rights Protection and promotion at the local, regional and regional levels. She has also participated in the launch of numerous projects and initiatives aimed at creating wider spaces of rapprochement through work on peace issues and the dissemination of the values of human rights, tolerance and coexistence targeting children, adolescents and youth. She participated in numerous regional, continental and international events to defend fair causes.

A path through which she has Earned  many honors and awards, the Recent was the European Award for International Women's Leadership at the European Parliament - Belgium/in March 2019.
