OBSERVATORY OF SAHARA FOR PEACE DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS:
Here at Observatory of Sahara For Peace Democracy and Human Rights, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2016, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our NGO upon: support, empowerment and progress.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Observatory of Sahar For Peace Democracy and Human Rights emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
Our Goals

Monitoring democratic development and security challenges, as well as the status of rights and freedoms in the Sahara and Sahel region;

Supporting peace issues and promoting global humanitarian values to encourage positive dialogue between religions, civilizations, and cultures; Openness to international experiences and building partnerships

Creating public discussion spaces among stakeholders in the field of human rights in both the Sahara and Sahel regions

Monitoring elections and contributing to their success according to international customs and standards

Encouraging research and studies, preparing reports, diversifying capacity-building programs, monitoring freedoms, and human rights, in addition to diversifying training related to international mechanisms for the protection of human rights and the relevant European system

Dedicating African belonging and contributing to the establishment of a model for South-South solidarity and cooperation
